It's been awhile since I have written something...I feel bad enough as it is, so no need to scold me. I had to pop in for a bit to share some fantastic articles I've seen around the web. Until I get it together to write my own post, here are some things I wish I had written:

French Baguette Vending Machines

Yes, you read that right- French Baguette Vending Machines. We haven't blogged in a while so I knew I had to come back with something outrageously wonderful and I think this is it. Imagine coming home from work and stopping off to get a redbox and a french baguette side-by-side; if the French have anything to do with it, that day isn't too far off. Check out the video below to see how easy it can be to elevate your meal with a fresh baguette! 

 

All I can say is that I hope an entrepreneur catches wind of this and brings it to my neighborhood soon!

Quick Summer Breakfasts?

It's about 6:45am here in Seattle and I'm getting ready to head off to work. I'm feeling completely on top of my game...except I'm kind of starving! As much as breakfast/brunch are my favorite meals, I don't do very well with eating breakfast during the week. Mostly it's because I'm running late or lose track of time and next thing you know, I'm at my desk hungry.

Parfaits are the only thing I can think of...

So readers...in the summer, what do you eat for breakfast on the run? (Delicious parfait recipes still accepted!)

Life in a Pizza Delivery Black Hole

Living in Seattle is amazing, but living at our current address is not. Currently, we live where a few neighborhoods intersect, which at first sounds great...however, what it really means is we live in a pizza delivery black hole. If you know Laura and me at all, you know we love pizza more than most twelve-year old kids do! By some sheer stroke of pure misfortune, we fall just outside of the delivery boundaries of many local pizza chains. So on a day like today, where the sound of my door bell ringing with a pizza delivery guy on the other side would be music to my ears...life in a pizza delivery black hole feels bleak!
