Get Out Your Dreidel!

Today at sundown marked the beginning of Hanukkah and this year I am rededicating myself to baking. Last year, I fell in love with Marcy Goldman's A Treasury of Jewish Holiday Baking. It highlight's traditional Jewish holiday baked goods including challah bread, kuegel, and cheesecake. She provides tips and family secrets in a creative knowledgeable way for tasty, heartwarming Jewish and European recipes.

When it comes to baking,  I suggest using to a source you trust, whether it be your favorite cookbook author, Food Network's Holiday Central, or an expert baker. Nothing can be more frustrating than baking an untested recipe, and experimentation doesn't usually work when it comes to baking recipes!
